SAVE and ZIPPOLE

In accordance with standard NBR 15486:2016, a collapsible support for signs or luminaires is one designed to yield, fracture or separate when struck by a vehicle.

It can be used for lighting, vertical signalisation, traffic lights, radars and other applications.

Also according to standard NBR 15486:2016, it must be CERTIFIED in compliance with the European standard EN 12767:2019 or the American MASH standard.

TECHNOMAST manufactures these supports/poles in Brazil using two technologies, SAVE and ZIPPOLE, which today cover every market need, whether for lighting, signalisation, traffic lights, CCTV cameras or radars.

Our factory and our products are certified according to standard EN 12767:2019.

Integrated "pole + foundation" solution

The SAVE line, made up of passive safety poles, is the result of two years dedicated to Research and Development, culminating in an integrated "pole + foundation" solution certified according to the European standard EN 12767:2019 (NBR 15486:2016).

This certification attests to the system's effectiveness in terms of energy absorption and passenger safety levels.

ZIPpole from 6m to 18m

Innovative, safe and versatile, ZIPpole is a passive safety pole ideal for new or revitalized highways. It supports up to 145 kg, reaches 20 meters in height and allows for various fittings, such as one- or two-petal lighting, CCTV cameras, radars, traffic lights and signalisation.

In the event of an impact, it collapses without breaking apart, offering safety along its entire length. Resistant to different soils and installation methods, it has a 25-year warranty and complies with European standards EN 40, EN 12899 and EN 12767:2019, making it perfect for creating safer, more efficient highways.
