SAVE is a system made up of a pole and a foundation that together form a passive safety assembly (passive safety pole). It can be used for lighting or other applications, such as cameras, radars, etc. It is manufactured exclusively by Technomast through a partnership with the Italian company Atlantech. Passive safety devices aim to reduce the negative consequences of road accidents by absorbing part of the kinetic energy generated during impact. In this case, the passive safety pole ceases to be an obstacle and becomes a safety device.

Integrated "pole + foundation" solution

The SAVE line of passive safety poles is the result of two years of Research and Development activity in search of an integrated "pole + foundation" solution with passive safety certification that is also cost-effective.

The system is certified according to the EN 12767 standard, in line with the pre-established classes of energy absorption and passenger safety levels.

Compliant with the EN 12767 standard

Specially designed so that, combined with the Atlantech foundation, it guarantees compliance with the EN 12767 standard.

The passive safety pole is manufactured from high-yield ASTM A36 carbon steel sheet, formed into a circular section and longitudinally welded by submerged arc, with a taper of 10 mm/m.

Submerged arc welding provides a more uniform weld, better looking and with higher penetration. Hot-dip galvanized finish according to NBR 6323 standards.

The most advanced device for pole installation

Atlantech smart foundations can be used independently of the Save solution, to save installation time. The result of 10,000 hours of planning, Atlantech Lux is the most advanced device for installing lighting poles, capable of meeting the highest technical requirements.

The box is divided into two "spaces", one for pole installation and the other for inserting electrical cables and an inspection box. The open end allows for quick rainwater drainage, preventing the inspection space from filling up.

Simple and safe installation

The foundation with a screw base ensures a simple and safe installation, carried out by just two workers equipped with small tools.

This type of screw base, which reaches 180cm in length, is the ideal solution for installations on road embankments or areas with little available space, and guarantees the perfect verticality of the lighting pole over time.
